First Time Young Voters Go Out and Vote in 2020 Election

Young voters were able to go out and vote in a presidential election for the first time and experience the voting process.

The Houston Chronicle reports that “Harris County has added nearly 234,000 voters to its rolls since 2016, despite adding just 143,000 residents during the same period.”

It was my first time voting in a presidential election. So, I decided to document my experience. I posted pictures before, during, and after voting. Then, I went on Instagram Live to give the full story of my time voting. I talked about voter turnout, why I voted, and how I almost was not able to vote.

This is a picture of me in the car on my way to vote.
My polling location was at Thornton Middle School.
My first time voting in a presidential election was exciting and stressful.
I continue talking about my experience voting in my first presidential election.
